Mrs. Spear is intertwined in all my memories of growing up at Glen Rose, both at school and at church. Her kindness and patience with us had no limits! I remember the first time I ever met her was when she brought a peewee trophy to the Gifford school to encourage us to come up to Glen Rose to play basketball! It was soon after this, we moved from Mt Zion to Glen Rose MBC and there she was with her smile, waiting to greet us. Eldon, I am so sorry for your loss, but I pray you find comfort in the sweet memories and the knowledge that she is walking with her Savior!

Mrs Spear she was a prayer warrior, a soul seeker , a true warrior for Christ. By her Life she lived she brought many people to the feet of the Cross so they could have eternal life. I was one that she taught and I respected her in all she did. Her Crowns will be many but all she wanted to do was please her Lord and Savior. May The Lord Strengthen her family in there loss but one day we will be with her again.

Willie made sure that I got my very first job at Jones Furniture. She wanted to stay home with Eldon during the summers; so she convinced Mr. Richards and Mr. Jones that I could do her job during the summers and on college holidays. She taught me many things that I still use in business today--attitude, prayers, and positive thoughts. She was full of love--maybe that is why she passed on Valentine's Day. Prayers and thoughts are with the family.
